Discussions board. 12-15 sentences. 1-2 paragraphs (1-2 pages)

Review Act II, Scene III, in which Iago incites a fight between Cassio and Roderigo that results in Othello dismissing Cassio from service (line 225-226). Cassio laments the loss of his reputation (line 241-243), but Iago responds that reputation is meaningless because most people haven't earned and don't deserve their reputations (line 244-252). Consider the importance of reputation in the play as a whole, then analyze Othello's, Desdemona's, Cassio's, and Iago's reputations. Explain how each character is viewed and whether their reputations are earned or not. How vulnerable is each due to his or her reputation?
